Instrument 01
TripRama. A psychedelic 3D panner.
Trip plus panorama: put any sound in motion around the listener. Click through the five tabs, the same five you get in the plugin.
01 · Space
Stop panning. Start placing.
The radar is the whole room: in front, behind, above, below, a whisper in one ear or 30 metres away. Real psychoacoustics instead of a pan law: interaural delay, head shadow, front and back colour, height from ear-shape filters, distance with air and Doppler.
- Azimuth all the way around you, elevation from under your feet to overhead, distance from 0.25 m to 30 m.
- Four macro knobs always on screen: Distance, Width, Room and Doppler. Room reflections grow with distance.
- Headphones mode for the full 3D illusion; Speakers mode stays mono-safe on monitors.
02 · Motion
Let it orbit, in time with your song.
Seven motion paths move the sound around the listener, locked to your song position so they land the same way on every playback, or running free.
- Orbit, Figure-8, Pendulum, Spiral, Drift, Bounce and the rotating six-petal Kaleido flower.
- Tempo sync from 1/32 to 8 bars, with triplet and dotted values, or free from 0.01 to 10 Hz.
- Depth sets how far it travels, Tilt how high; the path is drawn live on the radar.
03 · Swarm
A chorus that surrounds you.
Swarm splits one part into 2 to 8 voices, each gently detuned, wobbling and placed at its own angle around the listener.
- Harmony modes: Unison, Octaves, Fifths, Dream Chord and Chaos.
- Spread from 0° to 360° and Rotate the whole formation either way.
- Detune, Wobble and Rate for thickness; Mix keeps the original in front.
04 · Pitch
Five modes, picked for the material.
Pitch shifts the sound up or down by up to two octaves, with a Fine knob for cents, using Ableton-style modes. A Mix knob blends the shifted signal with the dry one.
- Beats, Tones and Texture are granular and add no latency; Grain and Flux shape the texture.
- Complex and Complex Pro are clean enough for full mixes, with Keep Formants so voices never sound chipmunky.
- Latency is reported to the host, so tracks stay aligned.
05 · Trip
A spinning echo.
Each repeat comes back from a new angle around your head and a little further away, so the echoes circle the listener instead of bouncing left and right.
- Set the delay time in milliseconds or synced to the beat, and Feedback for how many repeats.
- Spin sets how many degrees each repeat turns, from -180° to +180°; Mix blends it in.
- On the radar the repeats show up as mint echo ghosts fading around the orb.

The lab behind TomaTrip.
TomaLab is where TomaTrip, a Hungarian psytrance producer and DJ-in-training, builds the tools his own tracks need: full-on, Ozora-afterglow energy, driving grooves, hypnotic leads, and organic-folk textures that feel ancient and futuristic at the same time.
Influenced by E-Clip, Tristan, Astrix and Ace Ventura. Still early in the journey, fully committed, documenting the climb from studio sessions to live sets. Latest release: The Grand Design.
